This last week we worked passing the open guard Here is one of the sequences we worked on. Passing the legs and working to redirect the hips. Your ability to control your opponents hips is huge. Control the hips control the fight. This pass will land you in side control with submission options.

Having injured my left shoulder a few years ago I was slow to start overhead pressing, but using these bottom up presses along with other styles of pressing I've been able to rebuild my shoulders.
